The Lecture on Obesity, organized by Viver Santarém's Viva Mais program for 200 students, was a success.
The lecture took place in Abrã on Thursday, January 30. The speakers were Dr. Ana Carolina Pais, Dr. Mariana Coutinho, Dr. Sandra Lopez and Dr. Marco Jacob.
Viver Santarém would also like to highlight the collaboration of the Liga dos Amigos do Hospital de Santarém, a partner in the Viva Mais lectures.
Obesity is one of the world's biggest public health scourges and must be combated by raising public awareness of the need to practice sport.
Viver Santarém is fulfilling this purpose with a series of programs, of which Viva Mais is an example of raising public awareness and participation, with the aim of combating obesity through the practice of sport.
