Viver Santarém successfully represented at the Leiria International Meeting

Viver Santarém was represented at the Leiria International Meeting, in the Children's category, held on April 25th and 26th, 2026, at the Leiria Sports Complex swimming pools.
The competition featured 110 swimmers (65 male and 45 female), representing 15 clubs. Viver Santarém was represented by swimmer Maria Amélia Torres (Infantil B), competing for the ANDS (Santarém District Swimming Association) team.
The athlete stood out by securing a place in all the A finals of the events she participated in, winning the silver medal in the 100m backstroke and the bronze medal in the 100m butterfly, in addition to 5th place in the 100m freestyle. In all the events she competed in, Maria Amélia Torres broke her personal records.
Furthermore, the swimmer's participation contributed to the victory of the ANDS Selection at the Leiria International Meeting, in the Children's category, continuing Viver Santarém's good competitive run.
