Viver Santarém at the National Swimming Championships

At the end of last week, four swimmers representing Viver Santarém took part in the national swimming championships for juniors, juniors and seniors. In an event in which 805 swimmers competed, representing the most varied national clubs, the four swimmers representing Viver Santarém competed in the three age groups, with very encouraging results.

In the junior A division, swimmer Rodolfo Gago finished eighth in the 200-meter butterfly. This result placed the Viver Santarém swimmer among the best in his age group.

In the juniors, swimmer Thomas Price competed in the 200-meter freestyle, finishing in 17th place, and also in the 400-meter freestyle, with a better finish, in 12th place.

Also in the junior category, the only swimmer from Viver Santarém, Marta Nunes, competed in the 50-meter butterfly and placed 25th.

In the senior category, José Cabral came thirtieth in his discipline.

The National Youth, Junior and Senior Swimming Championships were held on April 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Coimbra.
